What's the best way to get money back from my employer who is stealing from me on a weekly basis?!
I get unofficial wage slips weekly that just show a lump deductions sum, but it is more than what my tax and national insurance is, it is roughly around £15 extra that is deducted a week (which I think is around the same amount as my employers national insurance contributions) however on my official monthly wage slips the deductions are lower (and right!) and it looks like I take home more money than I actually do! The tax office say they haven't seen anything like this in a long time but suggest I talk to my employer first but I'm worried he will just sack me, should I wait until I leave to get the missing money or is it likely he won't pay me then? my employers not a nice man!! Help would be greatly appreciated x
