If you have anything below an iPhone 4 and your upgrade is available sure go ahead. If not I would wait until the 5 comes out, which probably won't be long.

Im not impressed with iphone at all, ive had one since Nov last year and was much happier with the HTCs i had before. Iphones are over rated.
