Do you give vitamins to your toddler?

my son used to drink a vegetable and fruit smoothie everyday so I didn't bother with vitamins but now not as much am giving him vitamins only when he doesn't consume enough veg and fruit. am I doing the right thing.

There's nothing wrong with supplementing a child's incomplete diet (because let's be honest, no kid is gonna have a 100% perfect diet.) The biggest concern is to make sure that the vitamin BRAND is reliable and that they source their ingredients from trustworthy companies. Otherwise you can end up with odd stuff in there like heavy metals.

I gave a Walgreen brand and it gave h constipation and I am trying a whole food multisaurus it has only 20 percent iron but he doesn't finish it he suck a little of the chewable

Maybe smash it up and mix it with a little yogurt?

Kiddie vitamins, yes. Flintstone Gummies ... I tell him "Boy, when I was your age we had to suffer with Flintstones CHEWABLES! We didn't have gummies back in my day!"

There are children's vitamins but the dose depends on age. Look in the back. For toddlers it is half a pill usually. They way I do is I break it with my teeth. I eat one half and the kid gets the other half. That way we both benefit.

Childrens vitamins, not adult ones. Lots of good multivites especially for kids out there.
