Why is my ex so nice to me now? He has a girlfriend!

I was in love with this man, but he treated me like nothing. He did not care about my feelings at all. He have got all of the power during the whole relationship, and he felt like I would accept him no matter what he did.
2 months ago, I decided to stop talking to him because he hurt me a lot. Then, he got another girlfriend right after the broke up.
I try to keep distance with him, but he has been so nice to me suddenly. I was really really distant to him because he has a girlfriend. However he tries to talk to me all the time now, and he told me he missed me once.
It makes me feel kind of uncomfortable. I think he is a fool, but I still want to know why he is so nice to me now. I am not liking him anymore, just curious.

It doesn't really matter why, he has a girlfriend now, he'll end up hurting both of you, who cares why he's doing it. The end product is emotional abuse, regardless of what his intentions are. It sounds like he's very insecure.

He's not getting what he wants from his current gf. He's making you love him again so if his relationship doesn't work out- youre the back up plan

Sadly, this is true, most guys are total scumbags. At least I know that i'm not included in that though.

Well there are many reasons he might do this:
First off, maybe he feels bad for the way he treated you.
Second off, maybe he's trying to rub his new "happiness" in your face.

No-one really knows why. If you really want to know, you could always ask him. If you don't want anything to do with him, then either tell him, or ignore him.

Maybe he wants you back! And he probably paid this girl to pose as his new girlfriend to make you jealous! BUT you should away from a guy who did not even treat you well while you were his girlfriend! Good luck..........

I don't think you should give it much thought. It's just the way he is-abusive(mentally),self centred and arrogant. Why do you even care why his doing it.His done so much already and in the end he'll just end up hurting both of you.You shouldn't envy his new girlfriend but, pity her because he is already showing his true colors to her as well.Just be thankful, that you are out of this relationship and look for someone who will love you and respect you the way you deserve. His the one with the problem now not you.

Watch your back and run away. This guy is looking to cheat. For guys like this, it's all about conquest. It appears that he doesn't feel like he has succeeded with you yet, and so is approaching with a new strategy, and will hurt both you, and his new girl in one try. Just don't bother with him, and run away from him, now.
