Dodge--Only because I'm looking at both manufacturers from an "old school" perspective. That is a perspective from the days when one could tell automobiles apart; not only the makes but the years as well. For sheer machismo The Chrysler Corporation cranked out waaay more vehicles of a "bad-ass" nature then Ford ever did. Dodge Charger, Challenger, Viper (More of a "new school" vehicle). Fords only claim to fame is the Mustang (Well OK, the Shelby Cobra as well) I happen to favor Dodge because I happen to drive a Dodge Dakota that I'm generally happy with, except for the amount of gasoline the thing drinks. If someone gave me a free Ford to drive, I certainly wouldn't turn it down.
Dodge by far....I get that Ford has been first in a lot of vehicles and has proven to be front runner in technology but Ford Motor Credit which is apart of Ford company needs to work on its compassion and understanding to people when they have financial problems. They make Ford Corporation look bad..my family has had a very bad experience with them and it put them through hell and I would NEVER recommend their products. Trust me my family wasn't the first and the evidence is there about how Ford Motor Credit is (via class action lawsuit).

Look an consumer reports and JD power rankings. Ford consistently tops the competition in quality, towing capacity, and other things like suspension and handling. Dodge just had a major recall on one of its truck lineups.
