I really want to plant a tree and ive been trying with small vegetables in the beginning but it didnt work... what do I have to do ?

Does it has to be in a special place(shade) or even put in black mud?

Most trees love sunshine and well draining soil. Don't put it in mud, you'll end up with root-rot...

A lot of people do...Water can be the life or death of all that grows!

Why do my aloes try to escape?
I'm probably over-watering them, but they grow new babies constantly, they grow like weeds... but, as they get larger, they tend to crawl out of their pots... literally I've actually had to pick several of 'em off the floor & re-plant them... They really ARE trying to run away! :(

That's bizarre...bigger pots?
Report as
Tried that -- they multiply insanely fast. My largest pot o' aloes is a tree-sized pot. Putting 'em in there only gave them more room to keep popping out babies!
That plant now looks like thick grass all through the pot, w/ some big sukkahs hanging over the edge trying to get away... (??)

I've transplanted a lot, now have.... (counting...) 5 pots filled with aloe & I gave one to my friend a couple weeks ago. 6 medium-sized pots, 1 huge pot. Started w/ one teeny baby aloe from my aunt a few yrs. ago... it went wild! It's nice that they grow like crazy -- I just want 'em to stay in their pots!!
I'm gonna have to research this... those things are overly fertile! And, nope -- I haven't fed them in ages. (???)

You should start a Aloe nursery!

What exactly are you planting..? Did you put small veggies into the ground hoping to grow a tree..? Your question is a li'l confusing...
You need to find out the name/species of the tree you want to grow, then find out what that particular tree needs in terms of water, sunlight, fertilizer, temperatures, etc... Not all trees/plants require the same growing conditions.
Find out what your tree is, then look up what that specific trees needs in order to "be happy" and grow well... :)

I was confused about this as well. Planting veggies will not produce a tree, to get a tree one must plant a tree.

When you buy the tree, follow the directions on the label. Different trees need different amounts of sun. Water when the soil is dry for about a quarter of an inch on top. Also, you could buy a book on the subject. That will tell you everything.

As a rule, trees like full sun, unless you live in the desert. Go to the Arbor Day website, they are all about trees. You will want to find a tree that grows in your zone, one that will be the height you are looking for, and that carries the qualities you want. I'm thinking about one that bears flowers, fruit, nuts, and so on. There are so many choices, no one can tell you which one is right for you without know what you are looking for. Have fun! http://www.arborday.org/

If you are just looking for something to grow, maybe you could start with buying a small tomato plant from the store, planting it in full sun and watering it every day. You'll even get the pleasure of eating real tomatoes, instead of plastic ones from the grocery store! Your State Extension Office can help you with details.

First u need to decide wich kind of tree u want to plant, and then do a little research on the particular tree, one good tip is look around u neighborhood and see what trees are doing good in the area . Must trees are planted for improve property value and for shade. "Have a good time planting u first tree."
