2003 Infiniti i35 died, wouldn't restart.

What's wrong with it?

It could be many, many things. Give us more details. Will it crank over at normal speed when you try and start it? If so, the battery is ok.. If not, your battery is flat - maybe your alternator drive belt broke last week and you ignored the little red light on your dashboard. Is there a smell of gas after cranking? If YES, the fuel pump and fuel system is probably ok. If not, then maybe your fuel pump had died.

If the engine cranks, and you can smell fuel, and you've got more than 100,000 miles, I'd guess the timing belt has broken. Sad.... Could be expensive...

The reason the Infiniti car died could be because the battery is dead. Another possibility could be that the starter is faulty. It is best to take the car to a mechanic for it to be serviced.

could be the starter, try replacing that, or get someone that has a code machine and see if that helps find the problem.
