How come water at the bottom of the earth, At the south pole, Doesn't fall off the earth and go in to space?
The world is round... gravity... I don't really know what else to say, except for you need to go to school more often!
The same reason you don't fly off of the earth's surface into space...gravity.
Because.... of.... gravity?
Gravity and the atmosphere hold everything in place
::facepalm::For the same reason you don't - though you seem a little more light-headed than most people.
How come people in the southern hemisphere don't feel like they're upside down?Gravity isn't oriented towards the south pole. Gravity is always pulling us in towards the center of the planet.
You are literally too stupid to insult.
mmmm well i think it's cause gravity.
Antarctica is frozen so all the water is trapped in ice, that's the only reason it doesn't drop off into space.
I guess you missed the science facts in your special education class when it talked about gravity! Trolls! >:(
Gravity doesn't pull you "down," it pulls you "in." Gravity pulls everything in towards the center of the earth.
This force calked GRAVITY! Maybe youve heard of it? Keeps us from falling off too.
Don't you know that America and Europe are at the bottom and Australia is at the top? People mount globes upside down so its easier to see our part of the world.
Water at the South Pole is still on top. Gravity pulls from the top down. no matter where you stand on earth the sky is up.the earth is in outer space, there's no up or down.
Not sure if troll or really doesn't know.
