It depends. Would my competitors be able to use that information in some beneficial way? Is there anything that could prevent my plans? Yes to either of those questions, or more like it, would leave me, as a CEO, not publically announcing in any way what the expansion plans are.
The wisest thing will be not to disclose the plans online. This is because one risks their ideas being taken away by competitors. This information can be disclosed once the plans have been fully implemented.
