What are some places that are absolutely unique to Pittsburgh, PA and the close surrounding area?
I have a project to do in school called "My place in Pittsburgh" where we have to pick somewhere unique to the area and write a report on it based off of interviews we have with the owners and customers.
Thing is, I don't have a place. I just moved to Pennsylvania in November, and last Sunday was my very first time in the city. I already know about Heinz Stadium, PNC Park, the Strip District, Kennywood, and the Sewickley Confectionery, but that's pretty much it. Ideas?
