Can an external sound card fix no audio device of laptop

My laptop PCG=7V2L is out of sound, it says "No audio device". Can I fix the problem using an external audio card?

An external sound card can fix no audio device of laptop. However, when you get a "no audio device" on your laptop, you can correct the error by installing the drivers. Just go to the Device Manager and select the Audio Devices to upgrade the audio drivers.

Yes, sometimes a USB audio device will restore audio. But also check with the Device Manager and disable any built-in audio devices that may be malfunctioning. It'll prevent conflicts.
