I myself have not spent too much time in the Good ol' United States, maybe around a few years, But I will tell you it is an overall great country. Sure, it is a few problems here and there, but what place doesn't? America, is a very accepting country I noticed. It is very open to the cultures of others, and more often than not, respects them. I may be a man from Mexico, but my heart just might lie in the freedom of America.
I love America. I was born in Australia and my family is mostly Mexican. I don't care how not American I am, I consider myself an American. Some people think it's a great place and some people don't like it. It's a great place if you want it to be! And you're from Scotland? I would absolutely LOVE to go there! <3 ~Jess
We'll say there's room for improvement. Sure it's a great place to live. There are still plenty of freedoms. People are pretty accepting and not as callous as we seem to some other countries. And yet, we could organize ourselves a little better. It just feels messy here. It seems like for every good thing, there's one bad thing to take its place. I still like it, though. Any country's good as long as I can go to the store and get some gum.
The States are rich in cultural diversity, history and has as many examples of same as there are people. Major cities especially, are rich in fine dining as well as "down home" cooking of all varieteies.
