Hi, William. I believe God has a plan for each and everyone's life. However, God gave each of us a free will also. Whether we choose to find out His will for us by praying unceasingly is up to us. That is why we're to pray about "everything." He will help us choose what we are to do in our professional lives, in our married lives, in every aspect of our lives if we just ask. It all has to do with that "free will" we have been given. HE does know all. Itt's us who need to find out what He would like to see from us...from the gifts He has given us...how we'll use them...how we'll share them.
Im a Jehovah's witness. And well you don't pray for the world to change or for him to make his plan happen, because he knows when that is going to be, but you pray for his help through tough times and through the journey of his plan.
you misunderstood,, god knows all of the happened and that will happen and the happenings, he doesn't make you do things obligatory FOR EXAMPLE :- a very smart physician is on the top of a mountain ,,while at the bottom there are two trains coming to each other in an opposite direction with a high speed,,the physician can see all around and he starts to calculate their speeds and their directions ....etc finally he finds out that those two trains will crash with each other for example after 5 hours .,,so when the crash happens it is not his fault and he didn't make them to do that means he didn't put the map but that is what the trains doing,,, trains and those inside the train chose that way ,,
I'm Christian it's really kind of our way of talking to God like when you talk to a friend and you ask him a favor he knows what he is going to say but we don't say when we ask for something it's our way of is this your plan for me and if not I understand
you pray for not to get something from the man. for he will not give to anyone but he will and can only give to u guidance and direction to where you have achieved in your own self as for as far you've come today. independently. it wasn't that his story of you has already been written for you. its more like he's there in all your decision makings. his touch will come from within your stomach. cause in a pinch or to make the right choices in life. that can make u or break you. even get u into truble at times. well when you just feel and know its not right or someting just doesn't seem right to you? Ur stomach will tell you. that's where I feel gods guidance into better decisions or when I've prayed for something from him. he cant just give it to u, but when you take that, wrong turn in life? he is warning u to not. gods within your soul. he is pure and none judgmental. when I pray. I pray to make the best decisions and for my lord to help me make the right decisions in my everyday life. or tell me when I am not. hope that helps??? :)
great question! it's been debated for centuries. I don't think anyone has arrived at a definitive answer yet. just one of many seemingly contradictory issues having to do with some religions. who knows? think about it enough and maybe you will find the one answer that satisfies everyone.
Part of that plan is free will and free choice. He may know all that will happen but we humans still make our chouces and set into motion consequences. Many many people step away from or refuse to be part of Gods plan and choose to follow after...other things. And, just because He has a Larger Plan doesnt mean He might not be willing to make some alterations if we ask. His plan doesnt make us puppets with no choice. He may KNOW whats going to happen but He still likes to hear from us and hear that we acknowlege Him. Asking for Him to heal or help doesnt alter the Larger Plan for humanity in any way.
We are to pray along these lines; "pray then like this: Our Father who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name.Thy a Kingdom come. Thy will be done. On Earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our debts, As we have forgiven our debtors; And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil.(Matthew 6:9). Revised Standard Bible. Two primary things I pray for is that is Kingdom comes. His government comes to replace all these world governments. And that all will know his name, and we can live together in unity.
God said in Qur'an: Verily! Our Word unto a thing when We intend it, is only that We say unto it: "Be!" - and it is. And Allah's Messenger Mohammad (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said: "None of you should say: 'O Allah, forgive me if You wish; O Allah, be Merciful to me if You wish; but he should always appeal to Allah with determination, for nobody can force Allah to do something against His Will." For Muslims, Allah knows and sees everything ? he knows the outcomes good or bad. Nothing happens in this world that Allah does not know, that Allah has not permitted. Even things considered ?evil? are not outside Allah?s realm ? it?s thought the evils that happen now will eventually result in human good man cannot understand. But, although God knows all, that does not mean there is no free will in Islam. Muslims believe Allah has written down all things in the Preserved Tablet ? all that happens or will happen is in there; it?s there now because God exists outside time. So, Allah knows what choices men and women will make, but does not stop them from making them. Words I love to Conclude. It is time to find out about Islam. It is time to find out about the truth by using your own Mind. A Time for Thought. A Time for Change. A Time for Action.
So an all-knowing, all-powerful deity sets about creating everything. First, he knows in advance that he will create, and secondly he knows in advance every action, attribute, and decision in which that created being will engage. So he creates me and says to himself, "Bummer. I know that this guy will be a believer for much of his life, but then he won't for the rest. I know he will think he is using his reason and intellect to become an atheist, but he's really just performing the way I made him to perform. I wish it could be different for him, but for some reason I have made myself unable to make him differently. And what's even worse is that he will be punished for eternity when he dies because of the decision I am now making for him. Oh well. C'est la vie"
