because if you had a religious person and an atheist in the room and you started talking about and reading the bible then the person who isnt religious would most likely get mad and leave. not everyone has religion and some are very touchy about the subject.
Im a young minister at my school an its just certain people that is in control an I take my bible to school every day an they can't say nothing about it. I have ministries at school an we have bible studies during our break time so I can bring my bible to school .They can't stop do what God want you to do. Read on my brother Read on. for more information contact me @ email@example.com of my personal one firstname.lastname@example.org. An the schools took God out the school NOW is the time to bring him back into the schools even the more NOW because all these innocent people kids die every day an you can't trust them at school. So read any way NO MATTER WHAT. READ YOUR WORD. AN PROPHECY OVER YOUR SCHOOL AN DECREE SOME THINGS.
you can read it,most people dont though.you just can't use it as a distraction or preach in class to people who dont wanna hear it because they find it offensive if they tell you you can't look them in the eye and tell them they have no right to take it away if you reading silently if its to yours its no different then reading any other book only difference in the tittle
because it is illegal for a teacher or someone who works at a school to tell students their religious beliefs now if you were to join a religious class you could discuss other religions around the world
If I were your parent I'd talk to the admin. Then get other Christians to join in. We have rights too. I'm sure Harry Potter would be allowed. It's getting silly. Please clarify, is this for your PERSONAL reading? Or do you need to do a report to tell the class or something? Does this "log" get seen by anyone else? I do believe schools should not allow people to teach religion. But if this is just for you, you should have the right.
Because we Christians are getting our rights taken away. We need to abolish anti-Christian rules. Here's something I just wrote down; you might not understand it at your age but I think you should copy it down somewhere and keep it for when you're older, or maybe even for your parents to explain to you now. Here it goes: . • Excuse: "Separation of Church and State." Many people claim Christians shouldn't be legally allowed to preach in public or Bible in school because there's a separation of Church and State. • Correction: Separation of Church and State does not sanction the Church. The Church is not a building nor a public place and we are not prone to law; we are all the Christians of the world and Heaven together as a family with our own free will. As well as members of the Church we're also civilians and as civilians we have the right to Religious Freedom and Free Speech. Therefore 'Separation of Church and State' does not sanction the Church, but it sanctions the State.
Your reading log as in what you read in school as part of your school work? They have to err on the side of caution, an atheist may complain about the bible while a Christian may complain about the Koran, so it's better to keep all religious books out of the classroom rather than appear to favor one over another.
Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the earth. Jesus said, I am no part of this world. The kingdoms of the earth were who's to offer, Satan's. There is a definite separation of religion and politics. Government go to war and they say with Gods blessings. God does not condone killing.
This is really an issue you should take up with your school. I don't really know why they would care if you were reading the Quran, the Bible or The Cat in the Hat. Are they trying to get you to read novels? Ask your teachers and school board if you feel strongly about it.
You can read your Bible in public school, but may not make it part of your official schoolwork, as the approval of that would be considered support for religion. Feel free to read it during your free time, discuss it with other students, and bring Bibles with you as a personal book. If anyone infringes on these rights, alert the ACLJ on the web.
It's because of this woman who complained about it a few years back. They're trying to take God out of everything so people and kids won't have morals anymore. And a lot of people are going with it. With no morals people will go along with a whole lot of things that shouldn't be. I say if you belive in God read your bible...and if they got a problem with it take it up with your parents. I think they're should be an option. For example they should have a class for people who want to learn about God and the ones who don't can just take normal class. To me that would be the perfect combination. That way atheist can be happy and so can Christians.
Because the school's are bi-religious, they should allow students to read their respective Bibles, etc in school. But because of the fact that most school's are bi-religious they won't allow it. They are probbly afraid of discrimination by other students when it comes to religious believes.
Assuming you mean public schools .... Why do you need to take your bible to school? There are hundreds of religions and many believe they are the only one "true" religion. Why open schools to the possibility of a religious conflict when you have so many other things to learn?
i go to a christian school so i dont struggle with this but i dont think its right what happened to freedom? that's what i wanna know. everybody else in the world has it but u bring a book to school called the Bible they take your freedom away. that's wrong. if a muslim walked into a school carrying the koran would they get punished? idk that's how bad our society is we are letting the government take too much control and that isnt gonna get us anywhere... except maybe comunism
