If you are not using your iPhone, go to the settings and turn the brightness all the way down. Also if you are not going to be texting or calling, go to settings and put it on airplane mode and the battery will barely change. I have had my phone down to 3% and turned it on airplane mode and it stayed alive all night. and if you double press the centre button, it will show all the apps you have used in a bar on the bottom, hold down on the first app until they are all twitching and have a red minus sign in the top left corner. When they have the minus (not an 'x', a '-') tap on all the minus signs until all the apps on the bottom bar are gone. This will not delete your apps, it will make you stop using them. Even when you are not on the app, it will run your battery because it is still on, so this way you stop using the app and it will stop running your battery. these are the 3 ways I make sure my battery stays longer. also using wifi and playing music runs a lot of your battery, and keeping your phone unlocked when unnecessary will run the battery.

1. You can save some power by changing Settings > Sounds. Then toggle Vibrate to Off 2. Avoid extreme temperatures. 3. Applying an equalizer setting to song playback on your iPhone can decrease battery life. To turn EQ off, go to Settings > iPod > EQ and tap Off. If you’ve added EQ to songs directly in iTunes, you’ll need to set EQ on iPhone to Flat to have the same effect as Off because iPhone keeps your iTunes settings intact. Go to Settings > iPod > EQ and tap Flat. 4. Turn off all your apps the instant you finish using them You can visit this site to check some other ways : http://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html
