Conservatives claim that raising taxes on the rich will cause people to loose their jobs, but is this really what would happen

The rich who own companies or invest in companies make their money from the work employees do, they can't really make up for lost revenue from higher taxes by firing these people that make them money. If they have extra people working that aren't needed they could do this, but any good business does not hire people it doesn't need.
Lowering taxes on the middle class would create jobs though. Even though these people don't hire employees they spend money and this is how jobs are created. You could lower taxes on the rich all you want and it wouldn't create jobs, jobs are only created by consumers who purchase goods and services.

Well taxes had been the lowest in decades, corporations made record profits, the rich have been richer than they've ever been in this "bad economy". So if lowering taxes didn't seem to work, what does? What did companies do the last two times tax was raised? They invested in research and development which are tax deductible. Which lead to more jobs which lead to economic booms that followed the two times taxes were raised.

These small business owners complaining are just proof that they are bad at what they do.

The so-called "rich" includes all of the small businesses that employ the great majority of
American workers. Yes - it will create extreme job loss. If businesses can't afford to pay
employees due to incredible "tax burden" - jobs will be reduced to part time at best and lost as well. What good would it do to lower taxes on the middle class when they don't even have a job to pay taxes on? - and, therefore, have nothing to "spend" anyway. Your thinking is, in a word - "backwards".

so if you own a small business and they raise your taxes your going to make up for this by cutting your workers hours back and turning away customers and making less money? If you could make more money by cutting your workers hours then you would already be doing it. People are in business to make money and no one is paying people to do work that they don't need them to do to make them that money. This conservative idea that companies have hired extra people they can afford to lay off is ridiculous

I thought raising taxes on the rich meant on their personal wealth. Raising taxes on corps. And small business, is a different thing, isn't it?Or are they raising all three taxes.

Remember, the Affordable Care Act was judged a "tax" and look how that is starting to already cause businesses to adjust their employment to fit the parameters of this horrific program. Thousands of businesses have already turned full time (40 hour) employees into part time, and reduced staffing levels to under 50 which is the threshhold for providing insurance under the terms of the ACA. This bill once fully implemented has the ability to completely destroy our economy, and all to provide healthcare for only 15% of our population that CHOOSES not to provide it for themselves. But its implementation was a great way to buy votes as that has already been proven.
