I have always wondered about this question myself. But one day I came up with the conclusion that the point of life is to keep humanity going. For example, you are born, you go to school, you get a job so that you can take care of your kids. When your kids become adults, you become old. Soon you die. Your kids have their kids, and the same story goes on forever. So I think that the point of life is to keep life going, not only for humans...but for other animals too.
Life is what you make it. You are the piolet of your own life it's time to get behind that wheel and steer into the direction where you want to go and you may bump into some rain storms along the way but the sun will always shine through and will bring a new day.
Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took hold of my shoulder and said, Be in the world as if you were a stranger or a traveller along the path. Ibn Umar used to say, "If you reach the evening then do not expect to reach the morning, and if you reach the morning then do not expect to reach the evening. Take from your health before your sickness, and from your life before your death." This is the foundation for limiting one's hope in this life. So a believer must not take this life as a homeland or permanent residence, his heart being tranquil and resting assured within it. Rather, he must be in it as if he were on a journey, preparing himself to depart. The advice of the Prophets and their followers confirmed this. Allah said: "O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the hereafter that is the home that will remain forever." Words I love to Conclude. It is time to find out about Islam. It is time to find out about the truth by using your own Mind. A Time for Thought. A Time for Change. A Time for Action.
Why are people so worried about little things in life, when none of it matters.Everyone is obsessed with money and success when the reality is that no matter how "successful" you are in life, you are going to die. You're going to die, and everything you did when you were alive will be for nothing. Our entire galaxy cease to exist and it would mean literally nothing to the rest of the universe. So why are people so worried about anything when it's all pointless.
“We are visitors on this planet. We are here for ninety or one hundred years at the very most. During that period, we must try to do something good, something useful, with our lives. If you contribute to other people’s happiness, you will find the true goal, the true meaning of life.”
King Solomon gathered enormous wealth and pursued pleasure but found that those things brought no lasting sense of purpose. He identified what brought real purpose in life when he wrote: “The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man.” (Ecclesiastes 12:13) What does keeping God’s commandments involve?
Part of God’s purpose for us is that we enjoy life. Solomon wrote: “With a man there is nothing better than that he should eat and indeed drink and cause his soul to see good because of his hard work. This too I have seen, even I, that this is from the hand of the true God.”—Ecclesiastes 2:24.
Additionally, Jesus had no doubt about the purpose of his life. He said: “For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth.” (John 18:37) Jesus spent his life teaching people the truth about God and His purposes.
Our life will take on real meaning if we follow Jesus’ example. In fact, Jesus invites us to learn from him. (Matthew 11:29)
No point. Since having a point is a condition of living human consciousness. Animals do not need a point to live or exist. It is more of an affliction of consciousness that there are such things as points, a negative side to evolutionary development for lack of better words
