I didn't mean to but I trained mine. They can't do the same things as dogs but they can do tricks, I hold my hand out for the treat and have them jump up and take it. I've done that like, always, and now when I reach out my hand they jump. Just spend more time with your cat, don't try to get it to love you, just pet them once if they're walking by, and just keep petting, feeding, loving, etc. BUT DON'T OVERLY LOVE THEM. If you smuggle a cat to much it will run away. I always have an open drawer in my bedroom so I keep one open at all times and make sure there is something soft to be put under it. I wanted my cat to sleep somewhere else besides my bed, because i'm getting a bunk bed and I didn't want to get rid of all those morning kisses. So I kept my drawer open. OH and for some reason my cat likes my window to have the blinds slightly up so they can see under it (To see outside) and they sit there for hours. Make sure it's quiet, comfy, and slightly darker though they can go anywhere they prefer to have it dark enough to make you feel drowsy. It will not happen at first so just keep doing small things for about a week and you will see changes in your relationship :0)
I like cats, coz they are so cute and clever. So respect them and don't make fun of them when you want to live with them or train them. If you want cats to have some habits such as peeing in certain places, just put their cat litter in the place you want and put their food box in the places you don't. If you want to teach some tricks, please be patient to show them and reward your cats when they do as your wishes.
