There is no evidence that God does or does not exist. It's a matter that cannot be proved or disproved. The lack of evidence on it is staggering though. and to make such an extraordinary claim requires quite extraordinary evidences as well.
And don't point me to your holy books because that is just like saying superman is real and showing me a comic book as proof.

No matter what anyone says, they do not know 100% whether he exists or not. There is no solid proof and there never will be. Don't worry yourself over something that will never have a definite answer while you're alive. Don't force yourself to believe something you're not quite sure of. It's okay, it really is. No one should tell you otherwise. There are more important things to worry about in life.
This is a good question to ask, I really think people don't truly ask it enough. Either they say the KNOW god exists when they can't possibly. Or they know he doesn't exist, when they can't possibly know that either. I think you should always be studying this question out, learn about philosophy and try to figure out what you believe reality is who you are and how or why do you exist. I believe that reality, like time is relative to each of us and it does all come down to what we TRULY believe, BUT YOU HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO SAY WHAT YOU BELIEVE, and ONLY YOU!
Who ever seeks me will find me,when they seek me with all of there heart,God wants us to seek him on our own free will, unrepented sin and not forgiving others can hold us back, forgiving benefits you to move forward spiritually.
I want to share this story. Most here remember the Haiti earthquake a few years ago. I also doubted that God existed, and if he did, why he didn't answer my prayers. I found out he does in many dangerous and powerful ways. I asked him to prove himself by giving him 5 days to make an earthquake powerful enough to kill hundreds of people. I was really thinking he wouldn't, but on the last day of the 5 days expecting this, the Haiti earthquake occurred. Even worse, there was a tidal wave headed for Hawaii! I prayed to God to convince me one last time by not letting anyone get hurt in Hawaii by this tidal wave, and guess what he did? The tidal wave was not as bad as people thought it would be when it hit Hawaii! God is real, and don't underestimate his power!
Most certainly, since everything in heaven and earth point to a Supreme Being, beyond a reasonable doubt. Laws of science demands a cause for the universe, or the 'Big Bang.' Logic demands a source of moral absolutes. A universe w/o absolutes makes no sense. As nanoscientist James Tour said, "Only a rookie who knows nothing about science would say science takes away from faith. If you really study science, it will bring you closer to God."
To make it perfectly clear, God came to earth, performed miraculous deeds never done or repeated. Then to make it crystal clear, this God-man Jesus Christ was killed in body, yet bodily rose from the dead. The legal and circumstantial evidence for the resurrection is enough to believe in God.
YES god does exist im i christian and iv seen his power and grace i bet you do to god made all the trees and all the animals do have a cat or dog if you do he made them most importantly he made YOU. you may not be able to see him put he always sees you. talk to a pastor for more details i hope this helped.
Do you believe in the wind? You can not see it - but the results of what it is capable of doing - prove that it does exist? Do you believe in electricity - you can not see it but due to what it can do enables us to believe in it and have faith that it does exist?
The same is with God. We see the sun, moon, stars, The Universe - Genesis 1:1 - states that God created heavens and earth. However, to understand what is truly happening in life today - he has provided the Holy Bible for us to review (2 Timothy 3:16) It is at our disposal for us to read and to understand the many events that are taking place today. Almighty God has not left us in any kind of darkness. He has provided "light" for those who are willing to seek him out. (Matthew 6:33)
Let's first talk evidence. Crimes are solved every day using evidence that does not call for the investigators to wait on the object of the investigation to enter and announce themselves. We make all sorts of important discoveries and decisions based on reasonable evidence. And there is a lot of such evidence for God. The existence of matter and energy that cannot create itself including a big bang that cannot create itself; the fine tuning of the universe for life; the existence of life itself; the enormous information content in DNA for example; One finds a watch, one presumes a watchmaker. It happens all the time and it is not considered faulty logic to do this. So the evidence is all around. And do not "out of hand" discount the contents of the Bible just because it is a "religious" book. The contents are relevant and can be examined as evidence. The Bible says "The heavens declare the glory of God" and indeed they do. It says, "we are fearfully and wonderfully made" and indeed we are. It says Man denies the creator and worships the creation instead and we indeed see this just as it says. So lots of words to say....yeah...there is evidence for God.
"The most astounding thing God has ever done to show His existence to us is when He passed through the veil between heaven and earth and came to live among us as a man." -Sue Bohlin in an article, "Evidence for the Existence of God."
Ah... One of the most famous and infamous questions of all time... I suppose we could just save both of us alot of time and just focus on two sides of this arguement... The athiests side... And the Christians side... Atheists most often use the theory of evolution as evidence that there is no magic wizard on the sky... Christians like to argue it with "but evolution is just a theory"... So is the theory of gravity, I don't see anyone bashing it.... Christians often say that "you can't prove there isn't a god"... Guess what you can't prove that there isn't a ten foot tall magic flying weasel roaming space... I could go on with more examples but that would take up too much of my answering time, I encourage you to listen to debates on the internet, radio, tv...
Let us imagine that there is a god, just like the bible and pastors describe... Why would any body love this being?... A being who invented rape, murder, sadness, grieving, racism, sexism, Satan, everything that Most groups of christians are supposed to hate... He never had to create Satan or The Forbidden Fruit... was it for his own twisted entertainment?
Some keep saying There's no proof that God exists. But there's also no proof that He DOESN'T exist either! But He has a way to let you know. You just have to take the first step. He's offered you a gift of His Son, Jesus, and if you ask Jesus to forgive you for all your sins/shortcomings, and ask Him to come into your life, He WILL come in - and He will CERTAINLY prove Himself to you! You just have to be sincere and really want to know - you cannot do it like a challenge... He is GOD. He will not force you, but He wants to have a relationship with you, and He will, if you'll let Him come in. That's the only sure way to know... We all did the same thing, the same way, to get to know Him, and look how many Christians there are!
Well i will tell you this, if you dont believe i will not force you to do so. I believe because i can and i will. You dont believe because its simply you're choice, which i will respect. You dont have to believe in God if you dont want to. I wont get mad or tell you that its wrong or you are going in the wrong path. You choose you're own path to life. Thats what makes us all special. Ive gotten used to others not having the same beliefs that i have. Who cares let them be who they want to be. So in that case, if you choose to believe than great job and if not great job because you can choose what you want.
some people say they don't believe in God because they can't see him, so if you can't see God how do you know there really is a God? Think about this: can you see the wind? Of course not! so how do you know the wind exists? You can see the things the wind does, like blow the leaves that are on a tree, so you believe that there is wind even though you can't see it. The same thing with God, you can't see him but you can see the things he has done too. When you see a living flower or a bird, you can see something that God has made. So you believe that there really is a God. The bible also teaches us that God has a name :)
Yes. God is the ultimate reality. He is actually holding all things in existence. If God stopped doing so, we would cease to exist, but He would continue to exist. We know God exists through revelation which comes to us through Scripture and Sacred Tradition, and by our own intellects. Sacred Tradition includes the truths of the Catholic faith passed on by the apostles, which were not necessarily committed to writing, It is the common life, worship, and teaching of the Body of Christ, in union with the successors of the apostles, the bishops, and the successor of Peter, the pope. In the Bible, God reveals "I Am" (Ex 3:14) and "I am the Alpha and the Omega" (Rev 1:8), which means He is the beginning and end of all things. God also has some harsh words for those who deny He exists: "The fool says in his heart there is no God" (Ps 14:1, 53:2).
When it comes to the possibility of God's existence, the Bible says that there are people who have seen sufficient evidence, but they have suppressed the truth about God.1 On the other hand, for those who want to know God if he is there, he says, "You will seek me and find me; when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you."
Yup. I've had many encounters with God. However, if you mean "seeing" Him, then no, I can't say that I have. BUT He has spoken to me before, I've felt His presence so strong that I literally fell down where I was standing, I've spoken in the heavenly language, He's spoken through me to tell people things and speak to a church congregation, I've been slain in the Spirit and I've seen Him do things in other people's lives. My sister's eye was healed in a church service, and I have a friend who had a big know in his leg after an ATV accident (I'm not positive that that's the accident he had, but I'm pretty sure,) and he got slain in the Spirit. When he came up, the knot was gone! I wasn't at these services, but my dad and stepmom were. I was at a service where a man received healing in a deaf ear, however. He's done amazing things in my walk with Him!
