What is a good lunch for a girl who has braces?

Okay I just got braces, and they suck! I can't eat certain foods now for like a year and a half! SO LONG!!!!! Anyways, what is a good lunch for me?

Okay, I don't know if you are specifically asking about foods you can eat or just foods that won't get stuck in your braces (I assume you're in school and wouldn't want to walk around with your lunch still in your teeth :/ ) Assuming that you mean the second one here are a few suggestions:

-Yogurt: a lot of people have already said this, but it really is a good choice.
-Dry cereal: there are several different kinds you can get, so the choices are endless! (going for something sweet can make a yummy desert/snack~)
-Crackers and cheese: you have to be careful so the crackers don't get crushed, but otherwise... :)
-Frozen fruit or fruit cups: By lunchtime the frozen fruit should have defrosted enough for you to eat but is also still cold usually. Just be sure to stay away from stringy fruits such as peaches and mangoes. The strings can get stuck on your wires and are really annoying...
-Besides these options you can really go with anything you want, as long as you stay away from stringy or sticky things that will get caught in your braces (i.e. lettuce, celery, soft breads, etc.)

That is usually what I take to school for lunch. Hope this helped! ^___^

I dont have braces but my sisters do and i dont usually get when people say the can only eat certain things because they eat what ever they want. there is even a certain type of gum you can eat with braces on.

Yogurt is good. I had braces for a long time, it is ok to eat sandwiches and stuff. Just make sure it is not too tough so that you dont bend any wires, I just took my toothbrush to school and brushed to make sure whatever I ate was not lingering. Stay away from beef jerky. Soup is good too.

I used to have braces, and you can eat almost anything. Just not popcorn, hard caramel, or sticky stuff like gum and fruit rollups, and don't bite into apples, chopped up they are fine though, and that's about it.

I have braces and I feel your pain, but any soft foods will totally help. After a bit you should be able to eat any food, just cut up carrots and apples!

When I had braces I went to town on all types of food. As long as you don't eat junk food like chips and pretzels (They can lodge under your brackets and pop them off unintentionally) you should be fine.

Let's see... Jolly Ranchers, popcorn, gum, and licorice will do. :)
Seriously, though, I normally have anything that is soft but not mushy (like soup) and not lettuce/celery. Don't eat apples or plums or peaches without cutting them up. It gets stuck in your braces and you look like you have fur in your teeth.
