I depends, if you fall asleep around 12:00am and wake up at 7:00am you may not be getting enough sleep. Also it matters what kind of job you have. If you walk around a lot during the day you take some of your energy. Try falling asleep as early as possible and get at least 8 hours of sleep. If not, you will be tired during the day. Also if you are messing with your sleeping patterns then it will mess with you.
Make yourself a nice cup of tea and drink it slowly. Afterwards go for a short walk or long walk whatever your choice for either one and when done go home and take a warm soothing shower. Usually what I do when get up of mornings and it makes me feel pretty darn good....
Make sure you get enough sleep. If you have too much sleep, or too less, you'll feel groggy when you wake up. Take a cool shower. Eat a healthy breakfast. Drink something refreshing. Exercise. You can try to take a walk around the neighborhood early in the morning.

Since your body naturaly makes a chemical in your body that allows you to sleep..deeper..different stages..it needes to be counterated..out of your blood stream? another chemical...I choose The darkest strongest coffee..drink fast,with ice cube and sit back..then....go.go.go.!
Don't eat any carbs or anything heavy 3 hours before you go to bed. Your body is suppose to be regenerating, and if you eat it has to work while you're asleep and you don't get the benefit of a really good sleep.
