i am doing a Vitamin C content of fruit juice I have 25mg/1.9ml = x/0.4ml. I need to figure out x in mg. i have mg vit. c tab 500mg

need to see equation step by step please

Report as

This is a simple proportion.
25 mg/1.9 mL = x mg/0.4 mL

x = 25 mg x 0.4 mL/(1.9 mL)

or 25 x 0.4/1.9 = 5.263 mg

In a 500 mg tablet of vitamin C,

500/5.263 = ca 95

Therefore, one 500 mg tablet would be the equivalent of about 95 samples of the 1.9 mL samples containing 25 mg
