What are the best headphones you can get?

Report as

Beats suck! Bose are wayyy better by far! They're pricier, but they don't fall off of your head when you put your head down. *cough, cough beats do that cough cough*.

Thank Celestia! If another person would've said beats I would've had to come over to their house and buy them a pair of Pioneer, AKG, Bose, etc.

I'm fine with having a purplish bottom and a rainbowish tail.

Hehe

Are you referring to Rainbow Dash?

IMO Bose are pretty terrible for there price point also. They are at least better than Beats though.
Report as
I could see keeping a pair of Bose if someone got theme for me as a gift but if someone got me Beats, I would either never use them or ask respectably to take them back and just use the money to buy some higher quality headphones.
Report as
I own a pair of Bose ear buds that are pretty nice (payed around $100), wish I would of went for some Shure's though. My only thing against Bose is that for the money there is better options. As a gift I would deffenently keep them to add to my collection! Same as Beats though, they are bassy (way better bassy headphones for the money though)

Beats Studios are arguably the best headsets. (At least that I know of). They are pricey though

No, they are horrible headphones for what your paying for. (They should at most cost $80)
Report as
Beats are horrible!
Report as
whoa just take it easy
Report as
I was merely joking :D But Beats are pretty horrible.
Report as
I was kidding too haha but I have Beats Solos, and I love them!
Report as
my brother has beats, and they are good by my standards but i agree on the outrageousness of the price.
Report as
While they are appealing Beats there is so much better for that price range

Depends.
Gaming headphones? Probably turtle beeches.
Music/video headphones? Probably beats.
Exercising headphones? Bluetooth ones.

NO! NO! NO! Beats SUCK! GAHHHH!
Report as
Beats suck!!!
Report as
dear lord... the onslaught of beats beaters...
Report as
Please inform me as to why Beats have anywhere near good quality. I mean, I've only done hours of research but.... Let's see if thousands of reviews, specs, and forums were wrong, shall we? :D
Report as
My brother has a pair, and honestly i have never tried anything else except for ps3 bluetooth wireless headphones($99). So far the are not the best for gaming, but cancel out sound really well and have good volume controls. But at $200-$500 i would not buy a pair. And i was not challenging those reviews, merely suggesting that i like beats.

Look into Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, AKG, Denon, Grado, Shure, and Bowers and Wilkins. All top notch brands. Dont listen to half the kids on here recommending Beats, Souls, Bose, Skullcandy, Logitech, etc.

You re-assured me that I was leaning in the right direction, thank you! :D (I am probably going to end up getting Audio-Technicas or some AKGs)
Report as
Audio-Technicas are awesome, my cousin has the ATH-M50S and I have Sennheiser's PC 360 (wanted a headset because I do alot of computer work, I am a software programmer). AKGs are awesome too!! Seriously can't go wrong with any of those brands. Overclock.net has an awesome thread with recommended audio devices, look in the headphone section (http://www.overclock.net/t/1014902/ocns-most-recommended-audio-products). Depends on what headphone your going to go with but you might need an amp.
Report as
Well they would be used not only for everyday use, but also music production and DJing. If you don't mind, how much do you like computer programming? I am highly considering going into the same field and would love to know how it is. Thanks :D

Oh man I love it, I am only twenty-two and have never had a professional job for it though. I bought http://www.logicpwn.com a few years back and dabbled in web coding also. I have two main programs as of right now (Chromium Updater and Game Data). It's like any of engineer job though, you got to love it and there is no better feeling to create something yourself and have people appreciate it.

I took Engineering my first tri (Yes, I'm a freshman) and I LOVED it and I'm planning on taking P.O.E and Web Design next year. So you're basically doing HTML coding? Are there any other things that you get to work on/with?
Report as
HTML is barely coding :) I have been doing programming since 14, over 7 years now. I am pretty proficient in PHP, and can do pretty well in JavaScript including AJAX. My weak point is design, I hate image editing even though I dabble in Photoshop and even own CS6. I have done VB.NET and C#.NET on Windows and even Java. I touched C++ but got a headache and never returned. I can help you learn some basics if you want a headstart on doing some stuff on your own. I taught myself everything I know and about to get my CompTIA A+ cert (standard cert for computer technician) for a better understanding of computers. Already read 2 different 1000+ page books and just going straight for the test. Email me @ TylerVigario90@gmail.com

If your looking for something cheap but good then go for Sony, Philips, or skullcandy (skullcandy isreally durable; personal experience). If you want something really good, but don't mind it being really pricey then go for Bose or beats.

I appreciate your help. But as much as I like the look of Beats, they aren't that good when it comes to audio quality. If you want something to look nice and sharp, but still have really good quality, look into some V-Moda headphones :D
