High protein diets are good for hair growth. Foods like fish, tofu, chicken, nuts, certain beans (like garbanzo beans/chick peas),etc... are all high in protein. It'd be a good idea to take a daily multi-vitamin supplement along with a high protein diet. Also, it helps have the ends of your hair trimmed regularly. Trimming often will get rid of "dead ends" and make your hair look healthier. :)
