Yeah my friend got a belly piercing and it didn't get ripped off but it got all messed up and infected and so it's never a good idea anyway. It's ESPECIALLY a dumb idea to get one if you play soccer. On my soccer team you're not allowed to have them. When we go play a game against another school the ref checks all of our stomachs to make sure we don't have the piercing.

If you want to avoid injuries with a belly ring in sports I would recommend gently taping the piercing down before playing.
With any piercing there is danger of infections but if you clean the area thoroughly every day, especially after activities where you get dirty and/or sweaty you can greatly reduce the risk.

Well I wouldn't do it because there is a great chance of it being infected or ripped off. But if you get it tape it down until you can take it out. Good luck.
