Can you help me?

okay, so my grandma ask me to call my sister and i said "she didn't pick up". Then my grandma start yelling at me to wait longer, like it already send me to voice mail.( like what's her problem) and i yell back, and made her really mad, and she say im not helping you do anything. Now what? Do i annoy her or something because she got some anger issues

I don't know if Grandma has anger issues, but I do know that when you yell back at someone, it only makes matters worse. Maybe later after you both cool off, you could talk calmly about it.

She is older. She has less patience. You are OK. Just be respectful. :0)

Tell grandma to make her own phone calls, you aren't her secretary.

(that should go over well)

Grandma wanted your sister for a reason. She's frustrated. Did you clarify your statement by saying it went straight to voicemail? She is your grandma; sounds "like" you were talking to her as if she was one of your pals. Simple miscommunication on both your parts. Go back and say you didn't mean to yell at her. State that when you dialed your sister it went to voice mail and you left a message to call grandma.

Maybe Grandma doesn't understand cell phones, messages and so forth. Try to explain to her calmly you are trying to get her on the phone but she is not answering.Remember she is old and deserves your respect, no matter how frustrating she is.

She is your grandmother. I know what it's like having a crazy grandmother, trust me. Just try to do as she says and never talk back. It's hard at times but she wants you to be a good person when you get to be an adult. You may not agree with her opinions but just go with them anyway. It's easiest that way.
