In my death experience, and I only made it to the "welcoming committee" I call it haha, it was mostly what I felt. So much love and joy, you are bursting with it! Can't hardly wait to go back and I can't even imagine how much love and joy there must be being with Christ too!
What all the ones I voted on said. Then the resurection, where the spirits become glorified bodies. That s why the Bible says ''the ones dead in Christ will ressurect first'' And then the living get glorified bodies. That s why continuing after that, the Bible says '' thhen we who live will be taken with them''. Gby
"Scripture repeatedly makes clear that heaven is a realm of unsurpassed joy, unfading glory, undiminished bliss, unlimited delights, and unending pleasures. Nothing about it can possibly be boring or humdrum. It will be a perfect existence. We will have unbroken fellowship with all heaven's inhabitants. Life there will be devoid of any sorrows, cares, tear, fears, or pain. -John MacArthur " What Will Heaven be Like taken from The Glory of Heaven"
No one can tell you definitively what heaven is like. Anyone who tries is lying to you, none have been there. Maybe its different for everyone. Is it ironic that there are more descriptions of hell than heaven.
First you must be a Christian to enter heaven, then you will be judged for what you did or didn't do after you were saved, then you will receive your reward. WE will receive glorified bodies and live for eternity and serve and/or fulfill the purposes of GOD. Which is all GOOD. We know in part now, but it will be fully revealed to us then. GOD BEING LOVE , we can be assured of the goodness of GOD'S plan
the bible says that only a few people have the privilege to go to heaven, revelation 14:1 says:" And i saw, and, look! The Lamb (Jesus) standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand having his name and the name of his father written on their foreheads." This small number of people will not be relaxing or playing a harp like they paint in story book's, they are going to govern by Jesus's side
Did you know that not all good people go to heaven? The Bible speaks of 144,000 that will. “They are faithful followers of Jesus Christ specially chosen to rule in heaven with Christ (Revelation 5:10). However, compared to the entire human population that is a relatively small number. Since they are ruling in heaven, they must be ruling over someone, but whom?
In Revelation 7:9,10 it speaks of a "great crowd". This great crowd will be brought to perfection and live forever upon the earth (Revelation 21:3,4; Psalm 37:11,29). This would include those who have died. The God promises a resurrection of our loved ones (Acts 24:15).
