Did you work for an employer who withheld your taxes on your behalf, or were you self employed and paid your own estimate taxes throughout the year? It also depends how old your kids are too. Not to mention whether you own a house or had any major tax deductible expenses, deductions, or credits, and so on. I'd recommend seeking an accountant if your financial matters are pretty complex, and if you're doubtful or unsure on how to do it yourself. If it's pretty simple, you can probably get by on TurboTax or TaxAct yourself.

There would be no way of knowing what your refund is going to be until you do your taxes. A lot of it depends on what you claimed during the year and how much your employer held out.

Do your taxes, it is the only way to know.

The tax code is over a million pages long, so there is absolutely no way that any of us can tell you based on the scant information you provided.
