for weight lifting. how long should i rest from the time i finish one set to the time i start my next to maximize muscle growth and development? i hear 30 seconds and ive also heard 2 minutes and greater. my wrestling coach told me to wait 2 minutes to allow your body to go through the krebs cycle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citric_acid_cycle) which basically is how your body uses oxygen to create energy to be used.
