I have been really depressed often as well. Listening to music is a good way, but it depends on what you listen to. Owl City is a good band to listen to if you're feeling depressed, as well as several other bands. You should totally try music
I don't think it's possible to be both depressed, and worry free. So I'm guessing you want to know how to be "worry free".
Simple ... just don't give a d@mn about anything.
You're favorite shoes got destroyed by the dog? Meh, it was time for a new pair. You're boyfriend broke up with you? Eh, he wasn't that great anyway. Nobody cares/respects you? What do they know, you only need yourself.
Depression can be caused by a lot of things, such as a seasonal disorder, where if you don't get enough sun, you get vitamin D deficiency and thyroid dysfunction and become depressed. Some people have too much serotonin in the brain and need SSRI's to make it recede. Others have low blood sugar and need a special high protein diet or treatment for diabetes. I guess what I am really getting at, is you need to see a doctor to find out what is really causing your depression. Take care.
I had a problem like that for a while (I'm 14) but I found out how to get rid of some if it (part of my depression is because of bad life experiences) but one of the biggest freedoms of the mind is not caring what anyone else thinks or says about you.
