Does ant depression pills work?

Was considering taking them but don't know if they will work and don't know if they would make me feel emotionless? Any help would be appreciated.

Each person's body is different, therefore taking an "antidepressant" will take much adjusting before coming to the exact correct dosage/medication. Do they work? In many cases yes. I have seen it myself, in my Mother, as well as other members and friends.
The trick is finding the right Doctor, who will correctly administer and monitor the medication that is best suited to YOU. If given in wrong amounts and/or incorrect medication entirely, it can cause one to become even worse. Truthfully, this decision should be made with your Doctor, whom you can discuss pro's and con's with.

I'm not on antidepressants myself, but from what I've seen, they really don't work for some at all. They work great for others though

They work well for some but not good for others. You can't rely on the pills to make you happy though, or make them your only relief. When I'm depressed, or draw, or take a shower, or sleep, or climb.

I've dealt with depression all my life. Medications can help. Each person is different however. From what I've learned over the years is meds may help but you need to take control of yourself and fight depression internally. There are professionals and many other resources out there that can help you with that

They work if you find the right one. We had to try five different meds before finding one that worked for my mom. You have to take the meds to find out if it works for you or not tho. Cymbalta and Buspar are the ones that finally worked for her.

Depends on the person and if he or she truly has depression. There are many different anti depressant medications. Everybody reacts different to each medicine. Go talk to your physician and let the expert handle this.
