Is it good to drink a energy drink before a soccer game or practice?

Report as

The thing about energy drinks is that they're full of sugar, so you'll get a burst of energy for a short time but then crash afterwards. I would suggest against it considering its soccer and there is a lot of running involved so you use that energy quickly and crash quickly.

Gatorade now has a 1 2 3 series as they call it. If it has a one on the package that means you drink it prior to exercise, 2 is for during physical activity and 3 is for recovery. Each are
Formulated to provide what is necessary for each stage of the physical activity

Both times is good because the sugar helps give you energy and get you moving. It is a lot better than water
