I want a dog that can endure Texas heat, that's large, protective but good with kids, other dogs, and easy to train
Labador retreiver. Im in alabama and their great guard dogs. Their pups but they still chase anyone or thing that comes in our yard.
beagle or astralian shepherd
Probably any large dog that's shaved and has a light-colored coat
Husky I've had three and they did great with my 5 year old cousins and they still chased of some kids that were ding song ditching me
Possibly try getting a Great Dane, but this breed requires a lot of basic training as a puppy.
Dobeys are good dogs. as are rotties. you just have to train them from the time they are puppies. I have a dobey and he is the sweetest thing, unless he doesnt know you in which case he will bark (he won't bite though)
German shepherd dog. Don't listen to the stereotypes. I show dogs, have owned 3 of the breed, study dogs, and have my own dog business. Best dogs, hands down.
