..lol, these are all fun and entertaining answers.
...but there is a common misconception of the process of evolution. ...evolution is driven by selective pressure and made possible by gradual or sudden variations within a species; but since man is now in control of his environment, there is little natural selective pressure for any further evolutionary change. For example: ...the only way we would lose our little toe is if (1): a smaller little toe was suddenly more attractive than a bigger little toe...so that those with smaller little toes had more opportunity to have kids than did those with bigger little toes; and (2): the natural tendencies for generations of kids to be born by chance with a smaller little toe than their parent's. This evolutionary mechanism is necessary for any changes to occur. Evolution= Selective Pressure + gradual Natural Variations (or sudden Mutation)
We're losing our pinky, someday we'll only have 4 fingers, and probably smaller bodies and bigger heads as we absorb more information and do less physical labor ... we'll probably start to look like "aliens"!
