Does anybody have some tried and true dieting tips for me? As in, tried BY YOU.

I am 13 years old, and before you say "oh, you're fine 13 is the age, etc." I am an unhealthy weight for my age. Often in the day I get tired, and my stomach many times hurts. Plus, I don't want to keep outgrowing my clothes and buying new ones. But I can't seem to get the incentive to NOT eat EVERYTHING in the pantry. Has anybody been in a similar situation and can share some advice/tips/tricks to help me? And we can't get rid of all the junk food, since I have teenage brothers who wouldn't stand for it. Thanks for your help.

I am 71 yrs old, and have been on a diet twice in my lifetime so far. The first was when I was 21 yrs old. I ate nothing but baked or broiled meat, and salads....no bread. I lost 25 lbs in about 6 weeks or 8 weeks.
www.thecaloriecounter.com; has all the calories in foods. If you will keep your eating/drinking to 2000 calories a day, 24 hrs. I guarantee you will lose weight. Check out the website, and add up all the cals. you eat in one day. I'll bet you are now eating around 4000 a day! Good luck, it works!

eat more fruits and veggies than meat. also eat a fruit (apple, orange, etc) before a meal (like 30 mins to 1 hr) so u get full and would end up eating less than u usually do. and since fruit is liquid, it'll wash out quickly. so it won't be stored as fat. good luck! :)
