How do you remove nail polish stain from clothes?

Report as

I've only ever gotten nail polish on my skinny jeans but then i thought "why not try putting nail polish everywhere" so i just covered my clothes in nail polish, i know that sounds weird but i did, but when i normally get nail polish on the carpets or somewhere else like blankets or whatever i use nail polish remover it normally works, but i would suggest you use one that's 100% pure acetone my nail polish remover does have acetone in it but you'd have better luck with pure acetone

To remove nail polish stain on clothes, try using pure acetone. Use a clean, dry cloth or paper towel and apply the acetone on the mark. Be cautious not to wipe the nail polish further into your cloth or make the mark bigger.

I only know of one time I've heard of it actually coming out and it was my sweatpants!!! I mixed nail polish with the spray detergent and rubbed the place of the stain with it!!! While it was still wet I put in the wash and later dried them as normal and that worked fine!!! Good luck!!! :)

My friend told me that baking soda gets stains out of everything and is an essential cleaning tool. I accidentally got nail polish on my new white pants and I remember her telling me baking soda so i tried baking soda and it came out after scrubbing it really good.
