The human word is only as good as who ever is speaking it and how it is used. People can tear down the world or construct it more for others. Your word is your own and how you use it is up to you, your words can only have as much impact as you make them and yourself.
The tongue has the power of life and death, if you speak on thing they will happen if you speak negatively on your life be careful things will always happen that will be negative and vice versa .........
Yes, there are two sets of two words that can make the biggest difference in one's life. "I can." And "I can't." As long as someone keeps telling themselves they can't do something they never will. Just as "I can" can spur someone on to success.
We cannot literally speak things into existence but our words have power over the lives of others (if they allow it) because they hear what we say and it can hurt them or encourage them depending on what we say. Words we use have power over our lives because they can reveal or re-enforce what we are thinking. You could say the wrong thing to a friend, someone who cut you off in traffic or during a job interview and it could have a direct negative impact on your life. Saying the right thing can have a positive impact. Additionally if you are repeating something over and over to yourself like "I'm a loser. I'll never amount to anything." You can begin to believe it and it becomes a self fulfilling prophesy or you can say something positive to yourself and it can help you think in a positive way bringing positive results.
yes, i do believe they can. "the law of attraction" read "the secret"if you havent already. child psychologists have proven what a tremendous impact words have on a child. children(people) will often live up to their labels. if you give yourself one positive affirmation each day, you will have a better self-esteem. likewise,if you critique yourself with negative words, you will be more depressed. words have power. one word can evoke the emotion of happiness, fear, joy, panic ,sadness,...just one word. abusive words are more harmful than physical abuse. this is true. so choose your words carefully, for once said, they can never be taken back(unheard)!
Words are of no consequence, in a country built upon the foundation of freedom of speech, you can say anything without repercussion, and if someone is negatively effected by your words, it is because they are weak and don't understand that words have no bearing upon life, just actions.
