What's the best way to break up with my girlfriend?

My girlfriend and I haven't been dating for that long. I'm not even sure how long. Everything has been going fine on the outside, but it's killing me. We kiss and hold hands, but there is no spark, no passion. She isn't right for me. I actually make excuses not to hang out with her. I just need a way to break it off clean so nobody gets hurt.

Be straight up. It's gonna Hurt her either way, and you're making it worse by lying to her and still kissing her and holding her hand, maybe you could have not done that then she would've figured it out on her own, and next time go out with someone you do feel something with instead of playing with their feelings, yo.

Show her this message or write it out and give it to Her. Better to not let it drag on too long.

Face to face. Show her some respect in the matter. And once it's over, don't talk about your relationship behind her back. Not saying you would, just making the point.

Tell her that things are just not working out, and that you need space for some time. Explain that to her:) dont get too harsh or else things will get out of hands:)

i had that same problem acually just a month ago.i didnt know how to break up with her so i put it off for like 2 months i was scared to hurt her,so one day i invited her over and i told her it wasnt working out and we talked it out and now were good friends dont lie to her just tell her the truth. If your a teenager like me it will feel good to finally get it off your chest and i acually made excuesses just like you to not hang out and thats a bad choice i hope it all goes well...maybe if you do go though with it,tell me how it went on here and good luck.

Be honest. Not cruel, but honest. Tell her that you do not feel the two of you are the right fit, and you want to see other people.

Tell her face to face. I'm a girl, and I wouldn't want my boyfriend to lie to me. It might hurt her feelings, but it's better than lying to her.

The best thing to do is not hold on to something that doesn't feel right. You have to be straight up with her. I would suggest easing off a bit on holding her and a kissing her. Maybe try distancing yourself a little bit, and then break up with her. It may hurt her but being honest is the best even if she doesn't think so at first, she will come to realize it.

and if she blows up at you about it, just stay calm. it just makes your case clearer. you cant yell at her back just say youre sorry and this is just how it is
