If you like fantasy: Lord of the Rings [the first 50 pages are slow, but trust me, it gets better], The Books of Bayern [have strong female roles], Mseum of Thieves [a great one to read aloud], The Inheritance Cycle [Very popular with young adults], The City of Ember [it's nothing like the movie], Narnia Chronicles [A little slow, but they have great messages], and Harry Potter [a must read]. If you like historical: The Biography of Fredrick Douglas [Seriously life changing], The Boy in Striped Pajamas [invest some money in a box of tissues], Les Miserables [get the full edition so you can have the whole experience], The Winter Witch [don't underestimate it], and Anne of Green Gables [the sweetest book you will ever read]. If you like romance: Pride and Prejudice [good luck not loving it], Water For Elephants [not for young audiences, but quite a story], Message in A Bottle [I can't even discribe it], and Sam's Letters To Jennifer [it can be hard to find, but it is worth it]. My personal favorites are The Life Of Pi, The Great Gatsby, The Story of Edgar Sawtellle, The Clan of The Cave Bear, and Lorna Doone. I hope you find something good!

A LOT! Try "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, "I Am Number Four" by Pitticus Lore, "The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl" by Barry Lyga (not really favorite of mine, but it's okay), or the Alex Rider series, by Anthony Horowitz, which is a personal favorite.

Predator By: Terri Blackstock. It is about the murder of 2 girls and the attack of a third. The first death was the one of Krista Carmichael's and her sister hunts for the predator. Great read. Honestly the best I have ever read. ( also the book is about online predators)
