it's a a mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. it looks like this: ?. pi goes on forever: 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286.....etc. so we shorten it to just 3.14. hope i helped! :)
It's the ratio of a circle's circumference to it's diameter. It's a mathematical constant of approximately 3.14. You can't get the whole thing, because it is a non-repeating decimal that goes on and on...kinda like Dodgy's answers. Lol!
Pi is used to find the area and circumference of a cicle. When people use it in a equation,it is 3.14, but extends much farther. Here is an example for finding the circumference of a circle: 3.14d=c and I'm 12. :-)
