Yep. I did exactly that last year. You can do it too.
I lost 50+ lbs in 24 weeks which is almost exactly what you want. Smaller portions, no snacks, healthier food -- and exercise. Every day. At my age I can only walk and I had to build up to that. But walking fast is better than walking slow.
The wonderful thing is that as you see the weight dropping off you'll really enjoy the routine.
A couple of things to consider. Forget about going back to "normal" when you hit your target weight. You're looking at a change of lifestyle. And do have a special treat once a week. It's your reward to yourself for achieving your goal.
Yes!! That would up to 2lb/week. Good luck! Eat off the land, opting for fruit & veggies. Find a salad dressing with no fat. Stick with chicken & fish. Red meat is bad, stay away from carbs. 30-45 min of walking and some weight resistance, daily. You can do it!!
