My employee has come into my restaurant with a cock roach crawling on him, what do I do?

Tell him that you forbid cockroaches & he needs to clean up if he wants to continue in your employ. There's PLENTY of CLEAN people who could use that job! If you just noticed, then how many roaches do you think have sneaked in to YOUR restaurant on HIS clothing BEFORE you saw this one? FIRE HIM before a customer raises h*ll about the roaches in your establishment! He's not doing it intentionally, granted, but it means he's a dirty person-do you NEED an employee like that? If I knew what restaurant this was & it was in MY area, I wouldn't enter it at all until THIS employee was out of there permanently!. Plus you get regular inspections from the board of health-you know what you'll have to go thru if his "pet" roaches breed in YOUR place of business! Hire a cleaner person to work in YOUR restaurant for the sake of YOUR customers! Please!

Do not be harsh towards him he would not do that intentionally. Approach him and kill the cockroach. You may try to find out what happened and give him a solution to finish the cockroaches at his home. This will make him feel confident as he does his work. But, if you confront him in a way of being dirty he will not do his job well and he may lose his esteem.
