In PA, are teachers legally allowed to hold a "team" meeting, (5-6 teachers) against 1 13yo student, without the parents knowledge/consent

This meeting left the 13 year old student feeling like his teachers "hate him"

I doubt that teachers are allowed to hold a meeting to discuss a student, especially when the parents are not present or not aware of the meeting. This can be really traumatizing for the student. The student's parents have to be informed about the matter before things get worse.

yes. as a matter of fact they are. if the student has infringed the school policy (or policies) they are legally allowed to discuss the issue without the parent's knowledge or consent. If all of the teachers have witnessed it they are involved. most likely 2 of them were the principal or assistant principal and the guidance counselor.

yes,I've been in several of those meetings. The teachers are kind and just want to solve the problem. The kid usually is loving the attention of all his teachers.
