How do you put on eye liner?

without looking messed up and/or goth? thanks(:

The first step to using an eye liner is choosing a color that is appropriate to that of your eyes. To apply liquid or cake eyeliner, line the eye from the inside of the lashes outwards in one big sweep or you can also line the eye from the middle of the lash line outwards. Finish by completing the line from the inner corner of the eye to the middle.
