What are your views on cloning?

Do you think cloning endangered or extinct animals would be bad? For example- the last Tasmanian Tiger died in captivity in I believe it was 2009- do you think cloning a DNA sample that they have and bringing them back could have consequences?

Definitely should not be done with humans. We have enough people on earth and there's no way to make sure the clone will be exactly the same as the actual person. I'm undecided on animals. Do we know for certain this will work with far more benefits than wrongs?

That's what I was mentally debating about, if there was any consequences. But bringing up the population of maybe Great Pandas wouldn't hurt , would it?
For some reason, I'm still thinking about that freaky scene in aliens 4 where the clone of Ripley has to kill a failed cloning attempt of herself. That's freaky. lol

I personally feel there are too many what ifs concerning cloning.

true. They already have the technology to do it, they might even be doing it right now, but it would be extremely top secret. Didn't they once clone a human? Or was that just from a movie with Arnold S. in it?

I believe just a movie.

I think it would be ok to use it on animals, but dangerous for humans.

yes, but do you think it would be a good idea to bring back extinct animals? Do you think something could go wrong?
Report as
definitely. however, bringing them back is a plus for scientists to study them, but I think they should just kill them after they feel like they have enough research(which I think is pretty much impossible)

I think cloning that allows us extra food is great and I might even agree with cloning people such as only children that died or super inteligent people get cloned. I like your question.

It's fine as long as it's in the right hands but it probably won't be. What rights would clones have? Cloning humans would lead to issues, but cloning food sounds good to me
