Well, i had my emotoins surgically removed (except for irony, ire, humor, and stubbornness), so I can tell you first hand that nothing surprises me, and I find that I enjoy watching other people screw stuff up, because my sense of sympathy is gone.
There would be a HUGE WHOLE LOT less problems if people had no emotions. No one would kill on ''the impulse of the moment'' everyone would reconsider before starting a fight. People would listen more instead of just getting mad and going away. Keep in mind that emotions and feelings are two different things. No one would take wrong options in the middle of desperation, which is an emotion. No more emos. No more people getting heart broken because they chose the wrong person because they felt a strong emotion and thought it was love. There wouldnt be pastors who would feel the emotion instead of the Holy Spirit.
The main thing about this is that people wouldnt fight as much. They would talk more and fight less. People would be happier because they diodnt do mistakes becauuse of the impulse of an emotion. Oh, when people were to say that they love someone, they would mean it. It would be the actual feeling. Not just an emotion that only lasts so long. Gby

It might be more complicated. What's your reason for doing anything if you feel no particular way about it
Should I bother to eat, drink or sleep Should I even bother to move or speak at all
There would be no answer. But without emotion you might not even be able to ask yourself those questions because the answer would not matter. If life is an equally agreeable/disagreeable option to death then it's all a coin toss. But you would be too apathetic to even toss the coin itself.
A friend of mine has a sister who is very emotional and expresses herself much. She didn't like being this way and would pray to God to take it away. He actually did one day. She realized how terrible it was to have no emotion. She never asked for that again.
Emotions were a quick and dirty solution in an evolutionary arms race. Had they not taken hold, life would be different--certainly--but if life were to continue, the result of this different victor in the arms race wouldn't see any of it as cold, or boring, or pointless, or Borg-like.
Well, I think a world without emotions would be pointless because you couldn't be happy, sad... You would be blank with no personality. Everybody would be lifeless, and there would be no motivation at all. Nobody would stand up for themselves. The human race would decrease, and one day there would be no more humans left because lack of emotion. Basically it would be quite a depressing sight to set your eyes on. So I'm glad we have emotions. :)
