You can make them grow faster by eating foods that are rich in Vitamin D, as well as calcium. Also, ensure that there is enough protein and Vitamin A in the food that you eat. They include chicken, beef, beans, and fish. Make sure that you eat plenty of green vegetables too. Read more from http://www.ehow.com/how_8422020_make-nails-grow-faster-naturally.html.
Strangely enough, my nails got stronger and longer after starting a Lutein enriched Multi-Vitamin & Mineral Supplement called I-CAPS that my optometrist recommended for my eyes. It has the Biotin in it also.
A key factor is to stop the biting behavior. Wear a rubber band around your wrist. Every time you want to bite your nails snap the rubber band instead. Negative behavior modification. soon you will associate pain with biting and will no longer bite your nails to avoid the pain!! :) There is an underlying anxiety that you many not be aware of that shows up as nail biting. When you feel the urge to bite, snap the rubber band a few times, but also consider what's going on right at that time--what circumstance, conversation, happening occurred when you wanted to bite your nails. Maybe you do it while watching tv or something, so the reason doesn't seem apparent. But start thinking on it and see if you can figure it out. This will take awhile. You have been biting your nails for a long time, it will take awhile to quit. A minimum of 21 days to break a habit the studies say. So be patient with yourself, love yourself and God Bless you.
I agree with xelazona1 u see to be like you but I started to put garlic and thought about everything my hands go that there is a lot of germs and I don't bite my nails no more you can take a vitamin for your nails to grow but it is a habit try thinking about germs and try to eat something crunchy I hope this helped a little
First clean your nail really good then file your nails. After that you put on clear nail polish. Other nail polish would make you want to bite you nails even more. Also if your nails are not cleaned and you bite your nails you can get really sick from all the germs under your nails
You can eat more veggies and you can also put on super nail growing nail polish. The nail polish is probably the fastest way to go. You can also get a special nail polish that will prevent you from biting your nails, so your nails will be able to grow.

Take 2 600mg tablets of calcium with vitamin D per day...in a week you will start to grow very strong nails. I had to take the above for a med. condition and the side effect was the most beautiful long nails I have ever had. Good luck---you won't be disappointed.
Hand lotion, keep it handy and use often up to 20x a day. Instead of biting grab the lotion and pamper your nails. Learn to love them and respect yourself. Learn to groom them and make them pretty and stay away from false stick on nails that damage your real nails. Hand lotion has an ingredient that makes your nails strong and grows fast.
when biting your nails see yourself in a mirror, put rings in your fingers keep in such a way that others can see it,when they see your ring they will see your nails too.so as a result you will stop your nails and it will grow well.
Take this from a person whos gone to Beautu School. 1st- Buy a CLEAR Nail Polish 2nd-Grab Garlic Chop it up into small Pieces and apply it in the little polish botlles. Than Shake the bottle. 3rd- Apply On nails Guarenteed! to Work When dried just wash and rinse hand. Than apply hand lotion. :) Byeee!

Don't bite them, my friend always used to bite them and she wondered why they weren't growing, well obviously you need to stop biting. when you do they will start to grow but cut them regularly to keep them healthy and not from breaking. But you have to stop biting!! Try to break your habit!
Vitamin D and lots of protein will help with this and also with hair growth.... if you keep your nails painted then you should take it off often so that they can breathe. I would suggest drinking milk as well and you should try to stop biting your nails because you might damage your nail beds which will slow there growth.
Gelatin. Either unflavored, which you mix in your food or drink or flavored, such as Jell-O gelatin. It works great for me and the unflavored gelatin can be used on your plants and they will go healthy and colorful.
I had the same problem but when I got older I wanted to stop. My mom said I had to stop biting first. So she put band aids over all my nails. Then I didnt even need to bite anymore. To make them grow, it sounds gross but, I mashed some garlic into a paste like substance then I just used a clean craft paint paintbrush and put it all over my finger tip including the nail, cuticle, under the nail tip....... Everywhere. I did this for a few weeks to get started then they just kept growing on their own. Ps. Washing the dishes works too and Bonus!!! Your mom will love you!!! :):) Good Luck!
don't bite them, don't clip them! only file the ends to keep them shaped. don't drink and type of cool ink, it keeps your nails healthy and white. don't paint them, cause the nail polish remover thins your nails and makes them break easily.
Dont bite them! lol. Cx Clean them in the shower with soap and file them. Use protein filled nail polish and nail polish remover. You can find that in most stores in the beauty department. I have really long, beautiful nails and they tend to break if I don't use special stuff.
