First contact your bank. Get on the phone with someone and detail the situation. Ask for a FREEZE on the account. Tell them you will close it if they do not freeze it. People walk away from accounts all the time and banks are advised to dismiss any action toward balances under a certain amount, so they will not sue you and ding your credit (if you have credit). Definitely contact them to see if someone will help you. And watch your account. Obviously. 700 dollars is way too much to overdraft an account unknowingly. Lastly, I would tell your bank to DENY you overdraft capabilities. That means your card will be denied or your checks will bounce. You no longer overdraft. Youre broke. Bottom Line.
You will have to get a hold of your bank you go through. Cause every day your account is over drawn they charge you an over draft fee. Usually $35 dollars every day until its brought back to a positive balance!
Several solutions; Pay some money weekly but take note everyday ur overdrawn the bank will probably charge u a fee. pay it quickly. Stop any kind of auto pay especially if ur not good with keeping track. Always balance ur checkbook. Wrap ur receipts around ur debit card so u don't forget to write it down. Those transactions add up. Finally, pay cash when ever possible. I save a lot in fees when I do that. Cash will never go out of style. Good luck...;)
