I have a 2000 Acura and it will not shift out of first gear . Do you think I need a new transmission?

If your 2000 Acura car will not shift out of first gear you will not have to replace the transmission. However, the Throttle Position Sensor will require replacement. The accumulator piston needs also to be checked.
