What's the difference between:"It's part of our history"and :"It's a part of my life"

Actually, I think saying "part of" may be the informal way and you do have to include the "a" in it. I can't be too sure, though. If it's not then all I can suggest is that maybe it has to do with whether the pronoun is singular or plural. I mean, "our" is plural, and the word "a" was excluded. Then again, it would be correct even if you did place the "a" in there.

I read the information in the dictionary once again and now,(thanks to you) I think I can tell the difference:1.part=not all/2. a part=one of many other parts.

There isn't one. It's just two different ways to say the same thing.

"Our history" implies that it is from yours and someone or some others' past. "My life" implies that it is going on in your life now.
